Kickstart to double Do Gooder


Through the DWP Kickstart scheme, we recruited our first members of the team.

Do Gooder set out to look for folk with little to no marketing or creative agency experience to join our team and become trailblazing do gooder's over six months. Building a smart, curious, and talented team with social purpose at its heart is central to our growth.

Emma Armstrong joined us to study Media and Globalisation in Nottingham. As a social media assistant, Emma perfected our content and visual language to support our societal led social media agenda. Her content production work increased engagement and content across all channels, and she is currently leading a new content series titled, 'It's Class.'

Liv Collins joined us from studying Fine Art in Newcastle. As communications assistant, Liv's contemporary lens brought something special to our copy, research and cultural insight.

The scheme provides unemployed young people receiving Universal Credit the opportunity to gain paid work experience for 25 hours a week over six months. We believe that the creative industry needs to work hard to attract a new generation of diverse talent, so taking the Kickstart route was a no brainer for us.
